Is the Earth energy pushing you?

Just got done reading a great blog by the Yin style fellas, on sprinting, it made alot of sense and I might try it!  EASEing into it, of course.

At any rate, I have been going on a walk with Kim nearly every day.  It seems after the first walk it is just like warming up.  The second walk though, we discussed how we could feel the earth energy pushing us.

Same as in baguazhang.  I think it really just takes some warming up when walking the circle, to feel this energy.  Lao Xie says this energy is ALWAYS there for us, we only need to TAP it.   Seems to work for me!   After a good fifteen minute warm up of walking the circle, we can feel this earth energy start to push us forward, like I just mentioned if only just walking, one can feel it push the arch and heel up.  At least that is how I feel it.

I wanted to share something my teacher shared with me yesterday and he has told me this same thing before, but it really resonated yesterday.  "Speed comes from being smooth, not fast."   Does this make sense to you?

If not, TRAIN HARDER, LOL!

Shaking and sparring someone with boxing skills

I talked to Scott today. He showed me how to properly "shake" the waist for fajin, I have been working on this so much I have gotten sore, but I am getting it more violent and smooth at the same time. Things are going really weird right now, my woman is about to lose her mind and I seem to be of no help, I am afraid to try and give her any energy as now, but I will overcome that, as this time last year I was keeping her wired thru my hands.  Seems like the trailer is just full of negative energy.  Any ideas on clearing it would be great.

My friend Brandon, was horsing around with a 12 inch blade and dropped and jumped on the damn thing.  Well he didn't JUMPon it, butmight as well have!   Scared the shit out of me.  I scooped him up and took him to the ER by myself.    Nearly cut his toe off.

DESPITE this, I am  making tremendous progress in my training.  I owe it to the animal postures that I have been practicing on the circle!   Each has a deadly combat app as well!  Just like each of the eight mother palms are wrist grab break

I am spending more and more of my peak time from seven form nine a.m. meditating and my mind has came undercontrol a bit more each day!

Per Zerostao's suggestion I have been doing the five element standing postures.

Oh yeah, three nights before the foot wounding fiasco, Brandon M insisted that I come at him "using my bagua" and he would "use his boxing skills."   I must say he was sober and his footwork was not bad at all!  I found the single palm change to work every TIME!  Hiding flower kept working for me as a throw.  I must say though,  it made me feel much better about my training!  His footwork was too "square" to overcome my arcs.   He couldn't do anything with pi quan either.  Same thing with heng quan, I only used pao once and had to pull it to keep from getting him in the temple with the elbow block.   I felt good, he said he did too, that night.  To bad he stepped on my knife.

chi projecting or fa jin

skilfully raising kundalini

long time no postage

realized today that i been going too yin in my training.  incorporating iron bamboo palm training methods now, would have preferred mung beans  but just not as easily procured in my area as bbs, fact.  my health had been on the decline due to a terrible infection i went thru and broke a personal rule of taking antibiotics.

so far the baguazhang just keeps revealing more secrets that have been right in front of me the whole time.  i was told today that i was wasting my time by skipping taiji and going straight to baguazhang, this was from the view of a certain family style's prominent practitioners, not sure of his rank in the family.

at any rate, lao xie gave me his opine on it and i concurred with him so i will go ahead and say it, practicing taiji would be a waste for me right now as it would take time from my baguazhang!

Some notes

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I have at last gotten the thirteen elbow form down well enough to post a vid.  You see, we open our Christmas presents today, on Christmas eve in my family, have done it as tradition.  This is my first Christmas with Kim and I love her.

I been doing qigong every morning for a bit over a year now (i'm sure I have missed a day or two) and plan on beginning my 100 day road to

Lao Xie has been giving me explicit instructions via dreams!  It is a result of my gradual dimensional expansion from Ya Mu.
